Strong John Thomson Elementary School is renowned for its diversity and academics, making steady gains over the last five years. Thomson was the first DCPS elementary school to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP World School. As an IB school, we prepare students to be active participants in a lifelong journey of learning.
